My first trip to the range with my new AN/PVS-27 MUNS (Magnum Universal Night Sight). Simply put: it's badass!! The PVS-27 is a "clip-on" night vision weapon sight that mounts via a LaRue Tactical QD mount in front of your day optic, giving you amazing night vision capabilities without having to change the Zero on your day optic. After saving my pennies for several months (and selling several guns & accessories), I was finally able to purchase this bad boy. I love going to the range (or hunting!) at night and doing some shooting with night vision optics. It's really fun stuff and my friends and I really enjoy it, so I decided a while back that I was going to buy one of these. Now that I have it, I couldn't be happier or more impressed! This AN/PVS-27 Magnum Universal Night Sight makes shooting my Mk12 Mod1 SPR at night a blast... and super easy as well!! It's insane how bright and clear this unit is! You don't even need any illumination from an IR illuminator either, not until you really start pushing the range back. I only shot at 100 yards so far. The range I go to that allows me to shoot at night isn't the most wheelchair accessible out past the 100 yard line. So I need to figure out how to get out to the 200-300 yard lines and safely engage targets in the daytime first, then I'll do it at night. So I'll eventually get video of all that! Also, I will try and get video looking through the scope and PVS-27 weapon sight while engaging targets, but it's going to be SUPER ...
